SOLUTION
I designed a multi-page spread for Leaf & Spine magazine that blends clean editorial layout with playful, hand-crafted elements. To give the piece a warm, approachable feel, I created original illustrations of succulents using analog drawing techniques. These were scanned and integrated digitally, adding texture and charm while complementing the modern design. The layout balances typography, imagery, and white space to guide the reader through plant tips, stand styling ideas, and hands-on DIY projects like kokedama.
